Paramedic Course Offered

Goshen, Ind. - The Emergency Medical field is an exciting and challenging health-care career for those interested in providing emergency care in the pre-hospital or hospital emergency department setting. Paramedics are the highest level of pre-hospital care.
Healthy Generations of Goshen Health System will offer a Paramedic course beginning May 19. This course covers anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, advanced airway techniques, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and much more. The Paramedic Course involves several clinical hours in various departments throughout the hospital as well as a large amount of field internship hours riding on local paramedic ambulances.
The Paramedic course is 17 months long. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-10 p.m. The cost for the course is $3750. Textbook and materials are included. The registration deadline is April 3rd. Register early, as class space is limited. A deposit of $1000 will ensure your place in this course.
